It seems that there is a bit of a baby boom in the celebrity world recently! 2013 has seen a multitude of stars announce their pregnancies: The lovely Duchess of Cambridge, reality TV star and Kanye West’s 'baby mamma' Kim Kardashian, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, Radio 1 super DJ Annie Mac, Hollywood actress and singer Jessica Simpson … There’s actually too many to mention!
We’re all trying to get a glimpse of how our favourite mummy-to-be celebs are dressing up their bumps. Take a look at some of the maternity styles of celebs due in 2013, some that have just popped and some of our favourite styles from the past.
Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Prince William’s royal baby is the most anticipated of 2013. As expected, Kate is looking graceful as ever, and Vanity Fair named her the best dressed celebrity mummy in April for her tasteful and classic maternity style.
Her classy, elegant beige dress and coral jacket are to die for, mixing near neutrals with a brighter shade for unbeatable sophistication! With dainty matching accessories, ballet pumps and clutch, she’s got the perfect princess look!
As we can see from this shot of her cooling down in the Swiss Alps, taken March 3, she does casual very well too! We love the charming cute polka dots!

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin are expecting their latest edition to the family in 2013. Vanity Fair named Hilaria second best dressed celeb with regards to maternity styling in April, and rightly so!
We thought Hilaria looked fabulous in this classic black gown at the Met Gala, Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 6 in New York City. Also, we love the cut of this chic navy dress! 10 out of 10 for accessorising her bump with the ruched belt above her waist, adding some pregnancy curves and shape to the outfit.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s little one is due to arrive in July.
Here is Kim snapped with a luminous pregnancy glow in a bright orange-red dress and matching lipstick, that suits her complexion marvelously. She’s made the look really cute (and kept warm!) with the feminine, fresh, white cardigan.
At the MTV movie awards Kim went for a more outrageous look with a tight- fitting, over-sized sleeved mini-dress. She's accessorised the floaty-sleeved mini dress with some statement jewellery and quintessential black courts. Very glamorous!

Fergie of the ‘Black Eyed Peas’ announced her pregnancy on Twitter in February this year.
At the Nickelodeon awards she was pictured in this eccentric, fun and playful, colourful number that was very fitting for the occasion of Kids choice awards. The bright colours are perfect for this spring/summer's colour scheme too. We love how she’s accessorized the dress with bright yellow shoes that picks up the yellow tones in the dress.
American singer Jessica Simpson is due to have her second child in August this year. From the pictures we have seen so far she is looking radiant and healthy as ever and rocking the maternity wear beautifully.
At Mumma DB we have been admiring Jessica’s choice of footwear; the shade of bright magenta heels is matched brilliantly by her lipstick and adds some real pizzazz to the lacy-sleeved black dress.
Another excellent colour match is with this effortless indigo maternity dress and flats. These bright shades are a must-have this season!

Halle Berry, star of movies’ X-men’ films and ‘Catwoman’, is pregnant with her second child.
Here she is pictured in an incredibly elaborate lace and satin gown on the red carpet in Rio de Janeiro. A very edgy, adventurous look for the star!
Busy Phillips, actress from TV shows ‘Freeks and Geeks’ and ‘CougarTown’ is another actress expecting her second child this year.
She is looking ravishing photographed in this romantic, gold patterned maxi dress. It is reminiscent of the boho look that keeps coming back in summer after summer but the metallic and gold add a glitzy, glamorous edge.

Hilary Scott, member of country band Lady Antebellum and wife of Chris Tyrell (drummer of the band), announced to the public that she was pregnant in December 2012.
We love the elegant, modest dress she sported at the Academy Country Music awards in April. She's added plenty of silver jewellery and a cute clutch to ensure a flawless evening ensemble. At the awards she announced that her due date is set for July.

Rochelle Humes, of the girl band ‘The Saturday’s’, and her husband Marvin Humes, who is also a pop star in the boyband ‘JLS’, made her special announcement on twitter in November.
Check out her high-contrast, block-striped dress! She’s teamed the style of the season with a foxy, well-sized red tote to add some colour to the monochrome garments. A truly striking look!
'True Blood' actress Anna Paquin arrived at Heathrow Airport in July, 2012 wearing this wonderful monochrome striped dress. Quite the fashionista, sporting a main-player look of this summer.
The actress had twins in September last year.
Actress of ‘Watchmen’ ‘Rock of Ages’ and ‘The Proposal’ Malin Akerman also opted for a stripy, cool maxi dress whilst out grocery shopping in LA. The wonderful little mushroom-coloured boots and tousled locks bring a grungy look. We love it!

Vanessa Lachey, wife of TV presenter Nick Lachey and now mother of cute little baby Camden, was spotted on her way to brunch with friends in Encino California in July wearing this lovely tan striped top. Relatively casual yet so chic! The couple welcomed their new arrival in September 2012.

Closer to her due date she wore this sassy red number to the premier of ‘Parker’. We love how it clings flatteringly, ruching in the right places to create awesome silhouettes and show off her beautiful bump!
Her little girl, Rainbow Aurora, was born in March this year.

TV and radio presenter Fearne Cotton is a woman who did not fail to impress with her maternity wardrobe.
Fearne maintained her funky hipster fashion throughout her pregnancy. She exhibited styles from daring animal print to pretty floral, boho at the Rolling Stones’ premier last year.
Her little boy, Rex Rayne Wood, was born in February 2013.

Natalie Portman’s maternity style was legendary, particularly this stunning and timeless dark raspberry, figure skimming ball-gown that she wore to the 83rd Academy Awards in 2011. The huge gypsy-style earrings that featured some contrasting colours brought a modern, tone to the classic nature of the ball-gown look.
Her son, Aleph Portman-Millepied, was born in June 2011.
Peaches Geldof and husband Thomas Cohen, lead singer of the band S.C.U.M, had their second child, Phaedra, in April this year, just 13 months after her first.
